Departure flight

All,

The group has made it to Dubai. Everyone is now looking around at the terminal and see what the terminal has to offer. Our 14 hour flight went well. Many of the students stated they could not sleep, so they watched a number of movies.

As some of you parents know, the check in with Alaska was a major ,,,,, but we made our flight on time. The students were great and waited patiently until all of the ticketing was completed.

The opposite happened when we checked in with Emirates. One very nice man helped us and provided the boarding passes for our whole group. He reviewed each ticket and made sure that our luggage was traveling with us. As we found out, 5 different persons' luggage was not properly booked by the Alaska agents, so without our Emirates friend, I am not sure what would have happened.

Thank you parents for your help in getting everything repacked and ready to go.

We will be boarding the plane to Delhi and look forward to a short 4 hour flight.
