It's been quite the experience being in India. I don't have the right words to describe it. All I can say is that it's been a whirlwind of masses of people, lots of stares and numerous historical destinations. I arrived one day later than the rest of the group, but adapted easily to my new Indian setting. When the first morning arrived we got on our bus and proceeded to drive to the city of Agra to visit the Taj Mahal. The bus ride really demonstrated how different India is from America: there's no personal space, traffic regulations are more of a suggestion than regulations, and anything with wheels is fair game to drive on the roads. It's been an eye opening first few days and I can't wait to see what suprises the south has in store for us. Nathan

  1. It's wonderful to read all your posts and hear about what each new day brings... Of course, in America, most people were sitting around the table yesterday feasting on turkey and all the fixings in celebration of our humble beginnings here in the New World. It must be amazing to see all the layers of history in India and to experience its depths. May your journey continue to awe as you experience one of the most ancient cultures on our planet. Safe travels and love to you all.... Sarah
